Motorcycle Jacks
Looking to get a new motorcycle lift jack to use on my 2006 Electra Glide and was wondering what everyone uses in Canada. I was using a pit bull jack which I borrowed from a US friend however that jack has since been returned. I cannot find anywhere in Canada to purchase a Pit bull or J & S jack.

Same here, had my Electra Glide strapped to it all winter with all the front and rear suspension removed,no issues and stable enough for wrenching as long as you use some common sense.Bought it new on sale, but see them on Craigslist around here for $50-75 all the time.

I live in rural B.C. and phoned J&S to discuss the freight methods. The company was very customer service oriented and helpful. I have never regretted paying more for the jack and compared to all others, it is by far the most stable and built for Harleys. My deluxe sits solidly, no wobbling, no need for straps. It is more money, but so was your bike.

I've also been looking for jack...I just wasn't impressed with the one at "Crappy Tire"...and there don't seem to be a lot of other ones available here. I did contact J&S - they got back to me quickly and are going to determine the freight for one of theirs from the factory here to Newf...

I do not know what is wrong with the Canadian tire jack, we are a couple of buddies here with all the same jack no issues at all. Also when on special they are dirt cheap .
Mine kept my roadglide in the air 3 winters long so far plus all my maintenance done without a single problem, rear shocks, front end removal, cams change etc etc.
There is also princess auto that carry some, never touch one of those, donno how they feel .
I checked the J&S look nice with free oil pan but 420.00 US plus shipping/duty i can buy 5-6 CT jack on regular price, for the average joe garage guy i'm, not worth the extra hard earn cash my 2 cents.
Edit: doesn't do a really good job to keep buddies GF softail stable that i can remember.
