I know this says for airport prescreening, but I wonder how much of it will filter to vehicle boarder crossings?

The way I read it, a US citizen on trial for a horrendous crime has more rights than a Cdn wanting to visit the US for a holiday.

 

Nothing but fear mongering by libtard social justice lawyers.Unless you are a total *** presenting yourself or if you have something to hide before the USBP agent,it will be the same for you as always.And you are correct,an American prisoner on American soil has more rights than you do as a visitor in limbo at the border.

Really not much difference than its always been. If you've nothing to hide just answer there questions and remember you're a visitor in a foreign country.
