Default Good or Bad exp at CANADIAN HD shops

I was going through this same topic in the "general discussion" and thought it would be good to have one for us Canadians. I put a lot of km on my ride and would like to know of the dealers that deserve my hard earned Canadian dollars and on the flip side the ones that don't.

I will start by saying Kamloops BC HD has the best parts people and wicked techs!

lets go east a bit lol. Thunder Road in Windsor has gotten way better, parts/service guys are awesome, most of the folks (except for one guy) are great as well.

I have had good experience with minor service items at Edmonton HD (yellowhead). Took a new wheel & tire to get mounted & balanced, they took it in right away, came back 10 minutes late all done & cost only $20. Had the gas tank recall done, same thing, road bike in & out in 10 minutes.

Other than that I will not have anyone touch my bike, I will do everything myself.

The folks at Cranbrook HD are the greatest.

I cant wait till I'm out of Warr. so i can do my own work. I don't even like the way "my dealer" did my first oil-change. Didn't even wipe the spilled oil from under the engine. Guess it must take to much time to run a rag under the bike. And I'm supposed to trust them....

Edge Harley, in Lloydminister AB has done good by me, albeit with minor stuff so far, but they are very easy to deal with (before and after money has changed hands).

RGB (Indy) in Wainwright shouldn't be allowed to own tools......

Both shops in Calgary have given me great service. Calgary HD and Kanes. I'd say they went above and beyond in service work they did for me. I'd highly recommend both of them.

On the other hand, stay away from Gasoline Alley HD. A bunch of nimrods there. I told the service tech 3 times that I had an electrical failure. Once when I booked it, next when I confirmed the appointment and again when I dropped it off. While it was in I told them to change the oil. When I picked it up they had done the oil change and claimed I didn't tell them about any other problem because it wasn't written down. Well they won't be writing down any more service work for me again. Idiots.
