Anyone here ever run one of these Mikunis's? Does anyone happen to have one of the "Branch" manifolds for one?

Wink

That looks very much like a twin-choke auto carb, more likely to be a Weber or Delorto, I would have thought! If it's a Mikuni that's new to me. I've also never seen Branch stuff for Harleys, although I have found a few ads for 'vintage' single-choke ones. I suspect you're looking for a pretty rare beast, so best of luck. Branch trades these days as Branch O'Keefe and they may be able to shed some light on that for you.

It is definitely a Mikuni. I have the carburetor and just looking for a manifold. These carbs are similar to Webbers and Dellorto's but much simpler in design. The one I have actually came on an MGB that I bought several years ago. Here is another picture of one. Not mine, but much cleaner and prettier. Don't know why I want to use it except that it is just different. They were popular used on older Ironhead Sportsters and Shovelheads. Manifold are rare. I saw one on Ebay once but missed it.

I'm happy to be corrected! I had a pair of Delortos on a Vauxhall some years ago (UK-based arm of GM). The only references I came across suggest that you are right about the era those Branch manifolds date back to. Would certainly looked darned impressive on a recent Sporty though!

I just took a look on Ebay, so get in quick right here, #351284153082!

Could be. I have even thought about trying to build an adapter, but sure would rather have one made by someone that knew what they were doing. I believe Mr. Branch knew a little more than I do about air flow.Ha ha!
