my 91 evo has a s&s super E and a s&s intake and the seals started leaking last week and I replaced the seals today and still have a leak, I found the leak by sprying carb cleaner around the intake flange with the motor running and she dies when I spry ether side?...is there something I am over looking or not doing right?

 

Make sure the carb is not sucking in whatever your spraying...get a big piece or two of cardboard and slip in (cut to fit) between carb and engine to make sure the spray is not getting sucked in.

Also check alignment of your carb mounting brackets (whatever type your using) to make sure it is not torqueing your manifold or carb when you cinch things down. Good luck. YD

 

Between the carb and intake is an isolator with an oring on one side take the carb off and check it. Also check the vacuum line to your voes switch and vacuum hose. either or can cause it..

 

There is no switch the hook up on the manifold is plunged off
