Default Help with my CV carb

I have a 2006 Softail Standard with a CV carb. I just put a D&M spike air cleaner on my bike and it sputters in full throttle. So I went to change the main jet and my slow jet. When I took the bottom bowl off my carb there was a 180 main jet but no slow jet. The only thing that is there is a brass hole. could any one help me as in what to do?

Is there supposed to be a slow jet there?
I bought a 48 slow jet and there is no place to put it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

don't change the slow jet, a 48 would be too rich for your bike anyways, and it has NOTHING to do with your WFO sputtering...... try a 185 or 190 main jet.
