Question Choke issue question

I am having some problems with my choke it won't stay out it returns back to off very fast does anyone no what I can do about this its a CV carb. Do you think the spring in the line is to strong hope I don't have to take the carb off to fix this or is this a very common problem..
thanks for any help..
ps this is a 99 Fatboy Evo if it makes any difference..

It happens when they get old, you can tighten the ring behind the **** but be very careful it is easy to crack the plastic. There is a nut behind the bracket. If that breaks you have to replace the cable (which is about 12 bucks) or just deal with holding it till it warms up. You have to remove the air cleaner including the backing plate to get to where in fits in the carb. Not very hard to to though.

Get it adjusted just right and by the time the bike is warm the choke will have vibrated in all the way. I only have to use my choke for a minute while it warms up in the morning and that's it.
