Hi, you guys always help with my problems, so here it is. I have a 97 fxdwg with an 80 " evo. Over the winter i installed a crane 310-2 fireball cam and a new mikuni hsr 42 carb. I,m starting to tune the carb and can, t seem to get it quite where it should be I think. I have the factory 2 into 2 pipes with se slip ons and a hypercharger. Live in Indiana. It came with a 25 pilot jet and all seems well running and starting other than idle adjustment. Only about 1 turn out on the pilot adj. air screw and idle at about 800 rpm. Checked for leaks and didn,t find any. am looking for good tuning advise from you guys. Read the manual, just want to here your advise and tuning suggestions, thanks.

 

Set your idling up to 1000.

Lose the air restricting Hypercharger. Install a good, free flowing air cleaner setup like the relatively inexpensive Big Sucker.

 

Ditch the hypercharger, 160-165 on the main, needle in the middle, 25 pilot.
