Default dynojet main jet replacement

I read somewhere that replacing the main jet on a cv carb is different with a dynojet kit. It looks like there is a plastic sleeve around it that screws out with the jet. I have a 45 slow jet and a 170 main. I pulled out the new plug after a few rides and it looks like its running lean.
I have a 80" evo stock carb 9.5:1 compression, ported heads, k&n filter,ev27 cam dyno2000 single fire ignition V&H pipes
If anyone has a similar set up let me know what you are using for jets and changing the main jet
Thanks

I am responding to my own thread in case anyone is interested. The main jet screws out like normal but mine was really stuck in the emulltion tube. I got it out and replaced the jet with a 190 (recommended by dynojet) The bikes running great.
