Strange thing, yesterday I was reading a post about a young woman wanting to make a clock from parts you are selling. I tried to find it today but not able to locate it. Should have subscribed to it darn it. I am into clocks and repairing them when possible

I posted this on the "Baker compensator install" thread but it might have been the wrong thread so I'm moving it here.

I just installed the 630-67K Baker compensator on my '13 RKC.
I was within the 0.30 max after measuring both the comp/clutch sprockets at a difference of 0.15. So I torqued the comp bolt (w/loctite) to 100ft lbs then backed off a full turn then torqued the bolt to 140ft lbs. The initial start up was fine. After riding about 10m (at idle) I noticed the comp making this same noise as heard in this video:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1S1an8uMENY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I understand this video shows an earlier M/Y but my '13 was making the same exact noise. I shut down, then re-started about 10 minutes later (but didn't ride) and the comp was quiet??? I'll try going for a ride tomorrow (weather permitting) and hear how things go. Has anyone experienced this with the Baker comp kit I used before?
Maybe someone can help out with this as well?
Regardless of the 2013 Touring H-D shop manual and Baker torque specs for the comp nut which is 140ft lbs (which is what I torqued the nut to) do most of you torque the comp nut to 170ft lbs? I'm asking because 99% of the posts I've read here and on other forums/YouTube videos are torquing the nut to 160-170ft lbs…which I'm thinking I should have done? I've been mislead countless times from the H-D shop manuals throughout the 20yrs year of working on my Harley's that maybe I should have known better that 140ft lbs isn't enough?

Thank you,
Joe
