help left key on blowing fuses
I have a 1969 pan shovel chopper. (generator model)
I accidentally left the key on and as it turned out it blew my one fuse ( in line off the battery positive wire). It appears that it blew the fuse before it totally drained the battery. Keep in mind when the key was left on it was not on the ignition switch setting that runs the headlight just the hot position that will start the bike . This a kick start only bike. I replaced the blown fuse and I turned on the ignition switch to see if the lights worked and they did for about 5 seconds until the same fuse blew again.
Please give some guidance what steps I should go thru.
thx mark
