Oh. It was already about as interesting as it gets. Just like the Auburn/LSU game. Just like the Florida/Tenn game. Fla/LSU. LSU/Georgia LSU/Bama and so on. It's gotten to where the SEC is about the only interesting football on anymore. The ACC has taken a dump. The Big East never was and they should do away with their automatic bid. We had a guy on here last year talking about undefeated Hawaii. I tried to be nice but, come on, there's no comparison. Now the talk this year is about Boise State. Same thing. They wouldn't go .500 in the SEC.
I thought the USC/Ohio game might be interesting but look what happened. Then the BEAVERS beat SC. How bad does that make Ohio, even Virginia, look?
I think if Penn State plays somebody they are still interesting. I think they will run the table in the Big-10.
What if two SEC teams finish 1 and 2 in the computer rankings. Do you think the talking heads are going to allow an all SEC national championship? Do you realize that the SEC championship prevents that. Who doesn't play a conference championship? PAC-10, Big-10, Big East, that's who. Does that favor an equitable chance to get to the National Championship game? Heck no. They are at an obvious advantage.
Just for grins. Do you realize that Auburn (SEC West) and Florida (SEC East) don't play each other this year. It was possible for both to go undefeated up to the SEC championship game. What if we didn't have a conference champioinship game? Both could be 1 and 2 in the BCS and play in the NC.
If it wasn't for the conference championship, you would likely see a lot of SEC National Championship games.

Your right about the SEC. I was referring to the fact that both are top 10 teams and with GA sitting at #3. If they win, they move right into the NC game(If they win out). If Bama wins, they will move up at least one more spot than they would have if USC had won that game.

Yeah. I was just repeating my habit of making a simple statement more complicated that it really is. It's going to be a great game and season.

Upset happen all the time. I'll stand by this statement forever; Just because team *A* beats team *B*, that does NOT mean team *A* is better than team *B*.
Eddie, (Paul Newman; RIP) in "The Hustler." "I'm the best there is. Now even if you beat me, I'm still the best."
Just said how bad does that make them look! Not how bad they were. Being better than another team is just part of the equation. Being prepared to use the fact that you are better than another team to win the game is a part of the equation, also.
