Default 25 hours and counting...

...until Coach Saban makes his return to Red Stick with the Crimson Tide. I gotta record the game and watch it when I get home from work. Tomorrow's going to be a loooong day.

Bama almost beat them last year. This year Bama wins easily 32-17 with a more balanced offence, better defence and more experienced qb. ROLL TIDE!

Saban is a good coach, but he has no integrity.

It was really lousy how Saban quit the Dolphins after two years to take a job with Alabama. He was lured by money and ran away from the challenge in Miami. Y'all better watch it; Saban could quit on a moment's notice and join the next college to offer him more money.

Yeah, he was the first coach ever under contract to deny that he was going to go somewhere else. That darn Nick Satan!!

Unless you are a Dolphin fan, you probably have NO idea how bad he gutted that team. We aren't talking about a guy that had been in place a long time and then left despite saying he wouldn't. Saban was given the authority to completely dismantle and then rebuild. He quit after the dismantling part. He DID do a thorough job of that.

The bottom line is that he ASKED for a total committment from the entire organization to let him take the reins. It's a rare opportunity that he had and a complete buy-in from everyone else involved and then he left the job unfinished and MUCH worse than when he started. He did NOT have a typical NFL coach's contract, responsiblities, or obligations. Surely, even the most die-hard 'Bama fan recognized the selfishness of that. I can see you wanting him anyway, he is a good coach, but I can't see anyone defending (or trivializing) his actions.

I have nothing against 'Bama or its fans, but Saban is a jerk for leaving his guys in a lurch like he did. It's good to see Alabama doing well so I hope you guys stay undefeated and I hope the Gators win out as well. I'll be looking forward to that game. I think one more conference win each and the Championship matchup is all set. Hopefully, we'll know by the end of today.

Alabama appears to have more of a grind-it-out type of offense than UF or UGA. Nothing wrong with that of course, but LSU *might* stay in the game a bit longer than they did against those two. Hopefully, Saban has them focused. LSU is wounded and desperate . . a dangerous animal. Over 4 quarters, 'Bama is the much better team this year. If weird stuff happens early, they just need to stay calm and stick to the plan.

Should be a good one.

Kevin

27-21 ROLL TIDE ROLL!!! Looking forward to playing UF in Atlanta Dec 6. But first things first, MSU and their two win streak and the boogs and, ugh, "6." The new streak begins Nov 29.

And before I forget, Wyoming? How in the name of the now departed king of Krispy Kreme did UT lose to freakin' WYOMING?

The LSU/Bama game was a good one. Nice to see Saban stuck around till the fourth quarter.
