What's up with this custom forum, isn't anybody building their own choppers? Well, just for some activity I'll post pics of the evo I put together.
This is the frame I picked.

here's measuring the cc's to find out that the heads were shaved.

I'm on for the ride... Back in the late 60s, you could buy a new beetle for $1899. Author in Penthouse wrote a detailed article on building one from scratch. It cost him $100,000 to do it. Figures could be off. There were a lot of distractions.

cylinders look good, measure good, have newish pistons
