Default 1972 FLH Fat Boy?

hey all, would it be possible to install a late 90's fat boy reare wheel on a 1972 FLH? I have a fat boy front end already on the bike but I want to put the rear on it too.

Why not if you can get the chain to fit/clear.&nbsp\\; I looked &amp\\; bought the 07 Fatboy front end to put it on a friends 67 FL, basically the same bike.&nbsp\\; You can upgrade the brake &amp\\; make a new bracket for the brake with spacer.&nbsp\\; I would suggest doing a swing arm / brake bracket clamp around in place of a link as you have.&nbsp\\; It is much cleaner. I believe the rear of a 1972 was the first year of the square tubing replacing the round one and doing away with the drum brake &amp\\; replacing it with the banana brake.&nbsp\\; Am I correct as it has been many years since I looked @ a 1972?

Thanks, that is what I wanted to hear. I had a question to others about the diameter of the axel but I think it is 3/4 of an inch and that would also be the size of the fat boy rear axel size.

Johnny,
&nbsp\\;
Should just be a spacer issue.&nbsp\\; Easy and cool swap.&nbsp\\; I put a Sportster 1200 Custom wheel on my Superglide, and LOVE it!&nbsp\\; Good luck, and post pic's when done!
