Thanks for posting up the wiring diagrams and the document with the recommended wire sizes. I have done a little googling, and have found a number of decent schematics, but I want to keep it as simple as possible, less wires the better... Thanks again...

Not yet, maybe in a few weeks, I am still working out some details with the a local shop I have been working with. The shop has helped me collect the parts for the build, now I am trying to get my game plan together. I have most of the parts minus the wiring, controls and a few other accessories which I can deal with later. This will be my first build, so I know I have lots to learn. I plan to start a thread at some point during the build, I am sure I will have lots of questions.

here is a pic of mine. sporty's are the best for these kind of builds! dudes stop to look at my bike then find out "ITS JUST A SPORTSTER" and walk away. haha, dumbass's hav the nerve to get off there bikes and check it out though then downplay the sproty motor! drop a cam in and they rock pretty strong! once again. great job so far and good luck!
