For some reason I cant see any post in this thread. Now for my question. Is it a good idea to wax your exhaust an mufflers? Or does the wax just burn off when it gets hot? I did wax them an seems when hot they had a funny smell. I thought it might have been the wax burning off.

 

Actually, like oil on it, I bet it will yellow the chrome. I clean mine with Windex. When my bike sets in the few months I do not ride, I wipe it off with a oily rag but I wipe it back off when I get back from my winter hibernation .
