Default Help with speaker grills!

My wonderful daughter helped me wax my Limited on Fathers Day, we had a great afternoon. While she helped with the inner fairing, she got way on the speaker grills. I can not seem to find away to get the wax off of the grills. I really don't want to take them out to clean them, anyone have any experience or suggestions for getting wax residue out of the speaker grill cloth??

For wax removal on cloth, there is about only 2 ways, Heat and or Cold or a combination of both. Freeze the section and scrape the wax off, and remove the excess with an iron, using a brown bag. It will transfer the remaining wax to the bag. Not easy for a speaker grill, but looks like you will have to remove them and try it.

Just thinking out loud here...but what about trying to gently brush it away with a "soft" tooth brush?
