Just used this stuff on my bike last night. For those that aren't familiar it's a two coat process that is specifically designed for black vehicles. It had good reviews so I figured I'd give it a shot, but overall I am not very impressed at all with it. The final coat of wax was in liquid form and didn't seem to do a good job at all, and doesn't seem like it will last past the first long ride. Has anyone else tried this stuff and had better results than I did?

 

I like McGuires cleaner wax then the Carnuba wax

 

I think the mcguires paste wax is what I'm going to go with next. Maybe it's the fact that the black box is in liquid form... and for whatever reason I've just never thought liquids do that good of a job.

 

Meguiars Cleaner Wax with follow-up of Meguiars Ultimate Detailer. Best combo for Vivid Black IMO.

I had similar results that you did. I like to try different cleaning / waxing products but this one in my opinion is a DUD!

 

I loved my Black Box until I left it outside and it disappeared. Lol.
