Default Using a Dremel

Has anyone used a Dremel with the little polishing wheel to clean those hard to get Chrome places?

Thought about it but not yet. Post if you give it a try.

Got my bike in October, had sat in a barn for close to two years, hardly ever used. It was in rough shape. I used s Dremel to clean alot of the surface rust off (brass wire brush) the chrome from light pitting that had formed in spots, also did use the polisher at times. Go easy at first, try it in a less obvious spot and see what you think.
But my old time favorite is Mother's, a rag, and elbow grease....

I picked up sum buffing wheels for the drill at harbor freight. They were like $2 a wheel, they work great cover a good amount of area.

Not a fan of using a dremel, tried one years ago on some Mustang wheels, slipped once and the arbor made a mark. Never used it again. I'm with Galdog on this one Mothers polish, rag and tons of elbow grease. Take your time and it will be rewarding.

I did try a power ball from Mothers once, it would work fine on larger surfaces with minimal oxidization but its not stout enough for most jobs and too big for others.
