removing surface rust from allen heads
My 95 softie has some rust in the allen heads, pretty much all over the place. Short of replacing them, what can I do to make em look a little better?

After you get the rust out you can use a fine brush and paint the inside of the head, or wherever the rust is, with silver model paint.

Then use a Q Tip and paint the inside with rattle can black: gives you a contrast. I retouch every winter.
