Default Swirl & Scratch Treatment

Does anyone have experience using the Swirl & Scratch Treatment product? I bought a "brand new" tank off ebay from a Harley dealershitp but it has some smudges and other minor marks on it that don't seem to come off by using a damp cloth and wiping dry. The directions are kind of vague about rubbing time. Don't want to do it too long creating damage or too short, not allowing it to do its job. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Who makes this product? Sounds like it may be similar to ScratchX which will require some elbow grease and time.

I'm sorry I didn't say from the start. It's a Harley product. I just used it tonight on my tank and it was flawless. It removed every single blotch on my tank. Just wipe on circular for a while at a steady motion then wipe off in a circular motion. I am honestly impressed at the ease.

Ok....that would be a glaze. Almost every time something is called a swirl remover it is a glaze (swirl filler). Adding scratch to the name threw me a little bit. I believe you will see after a couple of washes that the swirls return.

I tried it on some scratches that I have on my rear fender but didnt really seem to make that much difference. May take more rubbing and wiping and rubbing and wiping or may just need do use something else all together on it.

I think you would be happier using some ScratchX with a foam pad and some elbow grease. Then go over it with you swirl remover and then wax.

Any fine rubbing compound and elbow grease will remove swirls.
