Throw over saddlebags

Throw over saddlebags
I have started looking at some storage options for longer rides which I don't do often. I don't want to do the turn/plate relocation so I came across the throw over bags. Look pretty simple and affordable for my needs. Anyone dealt with these or have any recommendations? Found a lot of options on J&P's site.

Spend the cash and get some decent *real* leather bags.
I got some cheap-sh*t Jafrum bags 4 years ago and the past two years I've got more electric fence wire holding the junk together than there is thread anymore. They just aren't worth it. It was one of the few times I *didn't* follow my mantra of 'I'm too poor to buy cheap crap!'.
Once I can get some scratch together (really over-extended myself springing for an Attitude Adjuster), here's the bags I'm getting and company I'm getting them from http://www.leatherworksinc.com/103X-leather-saddlebags/
Good leather bags will last a lifetime if you take care of them.

I bought some cheap ones a few months ago and they never worked out. The flap that goes under the seat and over the fender was to thick so I couldn't fasten seat down over them. I got tired of wrestling with them trying to make them fit. Had it to do all over I would just get some good bags and the hardware to mount them properly.
