I have a 2014 FXDB with short shots and stage one filter.
I drove my bike 200 miles without tune.
Before tune idle was very erratic.
Hard start issues when cold
Exhaust popped going from 1st to 2nd gear.
On deceleration gurgling and popping.
Exhaust had a crackling sound to it and was pinging.
Just was running real lean very hot.

Installed the map last night with the Fp3
Map took total of 5 min to load need firmware update.
Idle smoothed out a little deeper less pingy
Sounds all the way thru the power band is good.
Acceleration is very smooth.
Deceleration no more popping.
No Cold start issues this morning.
Seems to be a very stable tune.
I"m going to put 100 miles on it and put it on a dyno and see where I'm at.

Same here, almost exact same setup and situation and I personally think the FP3 is awesome and the fact that its a phone app allows V&H to update it which opens it up to many possibilities.

 

I think I will be purchasing an FP3 next Spring, it sounds like just what I need. I already downloaded the free phone app just to play around with it. I think other tuners will soon follow V&H into the smart phone market.

 

Update
150 miles in no issues at all. The temperature is going to change this weekend.
We will see how it will do when the temp drops 30 degrees.The tune is very drive able.

 

Sold me on the FP3

 

Mine has been working well also.

 

I will tell you, I'm not a rich guy, and money is tight, but the FP3 has been the best thing I've done; it rocks and after a couple tries on the auto tune I'm jammin' and got 43 mpg, and I ride... spirited you might say. LOL

outside Temp has changed and i have put 800miles on this tune.
No issues at all bike is running very cool.
