I've been wanting to go dual disc and had been searching for just a wide glide dual disc hub. Demon Cycles has a dual disc wide glide hub but for $70, eh...suspicious.

So I got to thinking and got a hold of Steve at Hawg Halters. They have a wide glide conversion kit that has the axle, rotor spacer, axle spacers and all hardware to make the switch. After letting him know what year bike is and my plans he informed that you can buy just the rotor spacers for $71 each and they will work perfect with a dual disc setup.

If any Street Bob owners or guys with the same type of front hub and want to make the conversion to the wide front end and dual disc you can give Hawg Halters a call and ask for rotor spacer P/N RSWG49-C02. It's only available for purchase by phone. Also trying to see if they sell just the axle spacers individually as I already have the wide glide axle. I'll post more information when I find out what they have to say.

 

Nice to see your making progress on this dual disk setup, looking forward to seeing it this winter or early spring when you get back home.
