Default Fatboy headlight trim ring

I'm trying to bring my headlight out flush with fairing ,
I am looking for someone who has headlight trim ring part # 69636-99 that can tell me an accurate measurement of the rings depth.. This is for 7 inch fatboy headlight ...: would also like visor ring measurement if anyone has it .
Thanks
Already tried soft tail section and nobody is answering

If you haven't already, try posting your questions on the Softail Forum since the Fatboy is a Softail platform.

He said in last line that he posted on softtail forum.
Don't want to highjack your thread Bobby but when you installed your 7" headlight did you splice the wiring? I just got one from a Softtail Deluxe I'm getting reading to install. Any info would be appreciated.

Yes , I just cut all the wires and soldered and heat shrink inside the bucket ... Really couldn't see re running all the wires lol ... Took about 10-15 minutes for total job !

That should be pretty much same light ... I pulled wiring and grommet out of new light and pushed old grommet and wires in and soldered .

The one I purchased still has grommet but no wiring. I'll probably just do as you did. The 7" bucket looks nice mocked up. Also got a line on some Fat Bob trees to work with this winter. Thanks for the info and good luck with trim ring.

The "frenched" style trim ring is 2 3/16" deep. The visor style is 2 3/16" at the bottom, 3" at the top.

You might have to change your headlight mount with one of these rings. I had the visor one on my headlight and it hit the fairing when I tried to raise the headlight to get it to shine down the highway. I've bought a new mount but haven't installed it yet.

Thanks stewbeezer!
I have already put a shorter mount on , I had the same problem . Fortunately the one that came with the light was about 1/4 inch shorter and allowed me to adjust it to where I needed it .... Thanks again for the measurements !
