Default Racing republique fork uppers

Purchased some black fork uppers from -Racing Republique. 2 day delivery to the uk . They were only £60 a pair . Bit of a tight fit to get them on but whole job took less than an hour . Makes a massive diference to the look of the bikes front end . Will need some back apes now .

I take it they are covers that fit over the actual uppers, yes? If so, did you have to remove the fork tubes from the triple trees or do they fit around the actual uppers?

Edited to add: I looked at the website and using Google Translate (which is not perfect) determined that installation is accomplished by removing the upper triple tree, sliding the covers on the upper fork legs, and then reinstalling the upper triple tree. Interesting.

I didnt remove the triple tree - i dropped the forks and very carefully squeezed the covers in to place between the trees being careful not to scrape the paint - was a very tight fit but way better than the alternative . They certainly wont move or rattle
