What do you guys think good or bad.

you've had it for 3 years? you've already gotten your money's worth. Looks good too, aint much different from the old ones & the new ones.

 

If you are happy, then it is a good deal.

I got my 2001 SG two years ago for $6250, my son bought a 2004 Low Rider with 7K miles on it for $7000 in July, and I know of a 17K mile 2007 WG that the owner would let go for $7500 right now, so that much for a 99 model sounds a little steep to me, though. But, then that is just me...

Ape hanger those were the shocks that came on it, but if I find the 412 cheap I am getting them. Had them on the sporty I had and love them.

Nomad max those are national cycle. Several of my buddies have used them, one used them for about ten years and never had any trouble not even after he left the quick release loose and it slid down the highway at 70 mph.


Future upgrades are newer style lower legs, brembo brakes, 412 shocks, and maybe a quarter fairing. That's only if I get them used and cheap. THunderheader is a must.

 

If you like it what's it matter what anyone thinks. Personally I'm a sucker for good deals on used stuff with a little age that's cheap. You got a harley big twin and set it up your way for 7K, I'd say you did great!

I bought my 2002 wide glide for 6 thousand and slapped a mustang seat and Memphis fats shield on the front, I'm happy. It looks good, rides good, looks good, and best of all PAID FOR.
