Does anyone have any information on who makes the adaptor mounts to fit HD tourer passenger footboards to an '04 Dyna.
I have seen a set fitted to another '04 FXDX but the owner was nowhere to be found and did not contact me although I left my details.
I have checked Kury and DS cats without any success.
Any ideas please.

What I am hoping to do is fit the footboards from the touring range to my DYNA.


One of the aftermarket accessory companies make, or at least used to make, mounting brackets to allow touring bike footboards to be fitted to DYNAS.
It is these aftermarket brackets I am wanting to get hold of.
The touring footboards mount to their brackets quite differently to the way the DYNA footboards mount and they are not interchangeable.


Personally I find the DYNA passenger footboards dull and boring. Plain rubber pads and either chrome or wrinkle black bases. Some choice!
The options available for the baggers is great and as it stands I would rather leave the pegs on than fit DYNA footboards!

 

Not sure what you are wanting. The footboards FXD showed you are touring footboards. They come standard on Road Kings and Electras to this day. They are just shown with the mounts to adapt them to a Dyna of your year. I have the same footboards with Slipstream inserts mounted on back of my bike. Are you sure you want passenger or rider footboards? Maybe you mean the sweptwing type of boards that come on the Street Glides or Road Glides....they still fit the same mounts.

 

I have these on my 99 Wide Glide. The wife loves them. I like them because they fold up out of the way when she is not with me.

I first saw the set up on a friends Ultra. As you can see in the pic they look like they were there from the factory.

I am sure its not what your looking for, but Kury makes a passenger footbopard that mounts to the standard clevis on the Dyna. It also allows you to move the peg foward or aft because it has three mount points for the male hinge.
