Fat Bob + mid controls, just pulled the trigger on this:

$150 on EBay, still need Outer Primary plus a few other small parts....

Do you need to get a new inner primary also?

Now that is good question!! I am about 95% sure that you do not, trying to verify right now with another HDForum member. My research indicates that you can use a 1/2" drill to remove an epoxy plug that is in all the dyna forward control inner primaries. There is an unused "tunnel" just a bit right of the compensator, that is plugged.

Interesting. I didn't have any idea about that. Good luck with this project.

The outer primary on forward control models do not have the hole for mid controls. Not sure about the inner primary statement.

I just checked Ronnies online microfiche. Same part number for the Street Bob (mids) as the Fat Bob (forwards) It looks like you're good to go.

My 2012 Parts Manual shows 2 (and only 2) Inner Primary Covers:

60790-06C for mids and 60791-06C for forwards, with the Fat Bob(FXDF) listed for both. I am hoping that the only difference is one is plugged and the other is not.

I thought you had a 2013, that's what I searched. They listed the 60790-06c for the 2013 Fat Bob. I guess the only way to know for sure is to take off your outer primary. I've seen those online parts finders be wrong before.
