Default Dyna vs Wide Glide fitment of parts

A local guy has a set of big shots that fit 99-06 dynas. I have a 03 WG, will they fit. Its confusing to me, lots of dyna parts don't seem to fit the WG. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

If you are talking about the Big Shots staggered, according to the V&H site, its the same product number for them for the years 1999-2003. You should be ok.

They will fit.

You would be surprised how many different exhaust with different years fit other years and styles of the Dyna bikes.

It can be,, but Navarre showed you a technique to find the answers,,
Just a simple cross reference search of the part(s) you have in question.
Go to a dealer site, look up the item you want for your bike,, write down the part number
Then do the same search for the part in question,, and the bike it came from.
Do the numbers match?
It's really a simple process that can be done with all most any item especially when your bargain shopping second hand parts like those listed in the classifieds,,

If a 2012 Street Glide exhaust will fit my 99 Wide Glide I would say those would fit easily.

For future reference. Most parts will usually list what years they'll fit and then what specific models within those years that are excluded.

Was this with or without modification?

They look funny. They stick out away from the frame too far at the bottom.

No can do...
Rear mounts for Softail exhausts mount to the frame. Can't do that w/Dynas as the engine has to move *withinin* the frame. IOW, Dyna rear mounts have to bolt to the motor/trans assembly.
