Club Style FXD--Help me spend $$
So, I have a bone stock 2007 FXD, only 2600 miles and going in the club/thug direction. Problem is...I am not sure where to start with mods. I have mods picked out, about a page and half long to honest, but no idea where to start! So, lets spend some money!!!
I have tried to attach a photo, hopefully it works.
Thanks!

Some 12" chubby wild ones mx bars are a good place to start. Thunderhears? Air cleaner seems like all the club style bikes have the heavy breather ac but my clubbed out bike is running a true velocity stack. Your seat needs to go asap im running a le pera. But i dont think i like it because when i hit the throttle from a full stop i slide back to much. If i buy anorher seat itll be a solo bucket seat. However i do like the pleated solo seats too.

Side mount liscense plate. Black inner and outer primary. Black side and top transmission covers. Black timing cam and derby covers.
Trust me use your rear blinkers as running brake lights too and rid yourself of the hidous center tail light i know thats next on my to do list aftrr heated grips for the cold mornings.

You need to spell out to us this list of mods you have/want so we can better live vicariously through the list.
Then you should find one of those dominatrix women with a whip and high heels to whip you when you get lazy and don't get cracking on doing your bike up.
And then tell her all about the lazy thoughts you are having so she can whip you some more
Now get cracking on the list for us!

LOL!! Seems to be a pretty consistent trend of doing bars right away. I am just trying to see what mods you guys made first. I put some DK Custom Canyon Carver pegs on today and went for a little spin to ops check them and became very clear that I am going to have to put fwd controls on. I know that's not really with the club style, but I had had a hip surgery a couple of years ago and I just can't pull up on the mids over and over again. So, that is going to be the first thing I do. But, after that, my list is as follows:
Death Squad 12" TBars (and all new levers and perches)
PM Renthal grips
Fairing (still deciding which one)
Corbin or Saddlemen seat
HID Headlight (I work 1500-0300, so good lights is a must)
CD Dynamic Ringz
Progressive 444 rear
Haven't decided on front suspension yet
Bassani Roadrage part #5250
Air cleaner
HD Digital speedo/analog tach combo
Blacked out fork lowers
Coil relo kit
Tank lift
Lay down LP bracket
Leathrpro bags
...and so on and so forth...LOL!

The fxd is a great platform to build on. Looks like you already have a good list started. Why are you replacing all the levers and perches tho? Don't get stuck on 2 brands of seats there's a ton of good seats out there do some research. Look into the dual gauge set up too if your going for the club look I love it. I'd start with the exhaust, a/c, tune, bars and bags. Good luck post pics of your progress

So, the whole club style came from guys who wanted more performance and rideability out of their dyna. As someone who has jumped on the bike and ridden 1,000 miles to Pensacola in one shot, I can attest to what I say. Most people are just playing ****ing dress up, but here's a good place to start:
Great suspension, strong brakes, and rider comfort (seat, bars, fairing, etc.). Perk up the motor with a cam/pipe/air cleaner/tuner COMBO. After that, worry about the color, the rims, and the rest of the little ****
