Got my LED/fan light installed finally. It is in an Adjure reflector. This combo will not fit in a stock 5 3/4 bucket, so I got an Adjure bucket. I'll find out tomorrow morning how much better it is over the Osram Nightbreaker 60/55 bulb that was in the Adjure reflector which was much better than stock.

Any heat problems with that? Are you using the ceramic connector?
My 100/80 bulbs seemed to be fine without the ceramic connector, but I'd already ordered the connectors, so I stuck them on later anyway.

You guys that are referring to the 5 3/4 housing and the fan LED not fitting. Are you talking about the FuelMoto LED bulb? I am asking because I have a newer 5 3/4 housing on my 2013 WG stock housing btw and have no issues with it fitting. However I do know some of the older 5 3/4 are a little shallower than the newer bikes. Such as my GF 2011 SB has a slightly shallower housing than I do. Are these the 5 3/4 housings you are referring to?

Yes. The fan LED would not fit in the 5 3/4 on my '04 Softail.
Rode to work this morning, and the difference is amazing. Bright, white light that seems to light forever.

I am looking at replacing my stock HD reflector/housing as the seal is not holding and allowing it to cloud up, Has anyone used the Hella reflectors made for HD? I have read one or two reviews and it appears that it may be better than the stock but I am looking for input before I buy. Don't ride at night much and don't want the daymaker just better lense/reflector.

In California, people used to write songs about T-Birds and Corvettes. Today they write regulations. LOL

No thoughts on the Hella reflector in stock 5 3/4? I am looking at a 7inch replacement housing but not sure If I would have to cut my HD detachable windshield. Big question is {is the hella reflector and big improvement over stock}?

I got he Candlepower.com option on my Ex-Sportster with the Osram off road bulb and it was quite an improvement. the reflector makes all the difference. A very good value. I installed the DayMaker yesterday on the SBob and remarkable improvement. Pricey yes, but Kutter appears to have the best pricing on HD product as mentioned.

Like an earlier poster stated, I went with a 7" housing and the Trucklite LED. and french ring. AMAZING light, and it looks bad-*** on the front.
