Default To those with 16 inch z bars....

I need your help with cable length. What size/length/brand cables are you running? I understand this seems like a beat subject but I've done a search and I'm not finding out much regarding this specific setup.

I have 16 inch R6C 16 inch z bars with 1.5 inch risers.

I tried the LA Choppers 15-17 inch cable kit and the throttle cables were too long. I then tried their same kit but for 12-14 inch bars and it was too short.

Thinking it's about time to just order the specific lengths for each cable/line.

Any and all help is appreciated!

We would need to know what you ride. If you have the bars and risers already then measure the lengths and order to your liking.

Whoops, forgot to mention that... It's a 2013 Street Bob.

And yes I've definitely thought about the measuring myself method but it's something I know I'd probably do wrong and then order cables that aren't the right size haha.

I run 14" zbars are the stock cables were a good fit.
Having said that my old bike had custom cables. Call Barnett cables and tell them the length you want - they will talk to you over the phone about the length and +1/2/3 you will need. They are not expensive either even though custom made to your desired length.

If you want it easy and fool proof put in an order through www.hdbikeparts.com You just tell them what kind of bars you have and what bike and they figure it. I've used them twice. Good customer service. THey use barnett and goodrich.
