Default Would I be an idiot to overlook this deal on a Fat bob?

Was just surfing CL for random stuff and looked at fat bobs (its one of my usual searches) and found a 2009 with 7.6k miles on it for $9350? I've seen 08's with 15k miles for more than that...I have a little Honda Grom right now that I'm really thinking about trading in now

Brand new 2014 Fat Bob today at MS Coast Harley was $16,949+TT. so 7600 miles and 6 years of age will save you about $7,600. You do get a Warranty on the new one and are less likely to be murdered when you meet the craigslist advertiser.

I bought my Dyna Custom used with 678 miles and 4 years of age. Saved about $5700 buying used.

yeah, do it, you only live once, fat bobs are really nice bikes.

just as a note, the only way to get a Harley warranty though is to buy a ta Harley dealership, which is not a bad option, they can get anyone financing too, and they let you Test ride any bike in stock!!

You don't show where you're located, but that price seems about right. Here are a couple ebay listings that are are in the same ballpark. A few more miles, but I wouldn't worry about that... Have a look.

Didn't you have a thread recently about a different Fat Bob? It's a good deal if it's the bike you want. '09 had some frame improvements too if I'm not mistaken.

Thingfish: IF you are commenting to me, yes I did but I'm not the OP on this thread. I was posting a couple of Ebay listings I saw after seeing the OP's Craigslist post.
