I know this thread is 5 months old, but I want mags on my '99 too. Judging by your sig, you got things worked out. Do you mind if I ask about the details?

Direct swap if you use 1999-earlier mags. There are several differences, but one way for identification at a glance is to look for a tapered roller wheel bearing behind a separate grease seal (not sealed ball bearing which is 2000-later).

Otherwise you'll be changing Sliders, Calipers, Rotors...

2000-2003 lower legs, axle and wheel spacers are needed . These were the 3/4" sealed bearing years.

2004-2005 Dyna had different size bearings/axles.

Be aware.

Again cheap because no one wants them. 300mm bagger rotors and brembo calipers off of a 2008 ~ current model, see pricing on new take-off's who changed to chrome. Find them on Flee-Bag.
Oh Yeah...and i'll take as many 39mm Dual Caliper Slider Sets for $25 as people will send me ...seriously
