My supermeg broke at the weld on the fwd o2 sensor and I couldn't get a replacement.. After multiple emails and phone calls I gave up.. Their customer service really Sucked for me.. I replaced it with a V&H Propipe and I gained more power.. I still have the broken pipe..

I think the biggest thing you will notice is the upgrading the Torque.
Short exhaust are for higher rpm's as where the longer ones will effect a upgrade in Torque values.
Yours being a 95 inch you may be better off with the supertraps. I don't know for sure. Just guessing as I prefer the Bassani in most cases with a big bore. I don't consider a 95 inch big bore.

But that's me.

Hey DD, I know we had some short discusions on this subject a few weeks ago and I agree with you except when it comes to the Bassani 1D5250s. My longer Fat Cat exhaust destroyed the short 1D5250s in the higher rpms. The 1D5250 are an older design RR and do not even have stepped headers, some of the newer RRs would be a much better choice if you are looking for Bassanis that make hp/tq.

Here is my dynos with the 1D5250s in red and the Fat Cat(perforated baffle) in blue:

looks like I'm not making a stupid move with the supetrapp at least. I'm switching carbs at the same time so it'll be hard to tell if the differences i feel are in the pipe or in the carb but i wanted to make sure i wasn't making a mistake. ill take TQ over HP any day.

what about the new generation bassani mega power? it has stepped headers and is longer than the one in your pic. I am considering getting one for my 14 lowrider

I had a stainless supertrapp on my fxr back in the day and it was a cool pipe and very light wieght. You don't see too many of them any more. I traded the pipe for something stupid that i cant even remember.

Hey Hell hound, probably a nice choice if you can avoid scraping the front exhaust where it gets pretty low near the cam chest area. Would not want those pipes on a slammed bike but I bet those pipes sound and perform great.
