Default S&S 111". Pulled the trigger.

Can't wait. Bikes gonna rip!

Question is, how can I avoid installing the "oil line kit", and / or why is it necessary? Anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

Nice! Looking forward to the build! Sounds like it's a crate motor? What's the bore and stroke on that thing?

What did they tell youon the phone from S&S? The oil line seems like it belongs on a softail. There must be a conversion kit. Ask Hogpro i know he's been looking into that too.

But I see now checking back that you had read the same Hogpro link i had seen last week! oops!

Which 111 model did you choose XFXDX?

@ lowdown go to S&S website all of theire stock configurations are there, barring whichever extra work X has in mind.

I believe that "oil line kit" is S&S avoiding the HD legal team for copying engine design etc, etc. There was an interesting thread over at HTT that had pics and info on completing this modification - might go over there and "Search" for it.

Update: Found it,

Went with the T111", the full crate motor. The S&S dude, Wolf, tells me it's a required piece for the DX. "Unless," he says, "I get creative..." Wouldn't give me any more than that, said its all he could say.
