Careful, that's darn near a foreign language to fully half the folks on this forum.
They've only seen Snowmobiles in movies and have no idea that the finest amongst us wear a suit while riding.
Tuff part here in Minn is the road salt and gravel, they put tonnes of it on our roads all winter long and it's nasty corrosive stuff. It's a good idea to wait till after a first good rain before hittin the highway.
Thinking about this, if I could not ride all year long because of the weather, I do believe I would move to somewhere I can...where I live is a choice, riding is a necessity.
I usually start riding in April full time. I squeeze in rides when I can while it's cold. I rode to work in January and it was 18*. Then the snow started, and hasn't stopped since. I just got heated gloves so that next winter will be easier.
Still 3' of snow on the ground with piles 10' high or better, potholes the size of bomb craters, and enough sand to start a desert. We aint riding until May. Oh and expecting another 3 to 6" Sunday night. Love this global warming!!!!!
