Stock Street Bob seat - Painful. Rode 50 miles home from the dealer and immediately ordered this...

Mustang Wide Vintage. $269. Much better than stock, but still sits you down in a bucket, and makes it hard to move around. After 300 miles or so, I was ready to get off.

Used Touring Police seat from E-bay. - $80+$10 for the Kong dog toy that serves as the suspension. Bolts right on to the fuel tank mounting bolt, after drilling two holes in the mounting brackets. Almost as comfortable as the $500 Russell Day-Long on my Triumph Bonneville. No problems after a 700 mile day.

It works great! Some people think it looks a little strange, but you can't see it when you're sitting on it. Besides... squint a little bit and it looks kinda like this.

2011 Street Bob
Corbin touring solo
Skulls & "asphalt" texture on sides
Same pros as mentioned before. Tons of customizing options.
Seat is firm (which I like). It does take about 1,000 miles to break in, which they mention in the paperwork.
I know some have had a rough experience with Corbin but mine was excellent. They went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my seat. I do recommend getting it there though because of this. You choose seat pattern, emblem, side material, and stitching color. You can get whatever you want, albeit for a price.
Cons: price, they are not cheap. Having to wait for them to make your seat. But it wasn't too long for a custom seat. You have to get stitching on the seat bottom now, thanks to Comifornia's ban on the glue previously used.

Seat experiences .....

Me - 6'2" / 34" inseam / 220lbs / 35" arm length

Bike: 1999 Wide Glide

Seat: Mustang Vintage Wide Solo with Wide Passenger Pillion
Material: Leather
options/custom: None
Position as compared to stock: Forward 1"- 2"
Pros: Much firmer than stock. More comfortable for my wife than stock as it was wider.
Cons: with my long legs this seat made me feel cramped and too close to the handle bars.

Seat: Corbin Dual Tour
Material: Leather
options/custom: Flame stitching
Position as compared to stock: 1" rearward
Pros: Better material / foam than stock. slightly firmer. Fits me perfectly. I bought this seat new. Cost was $512 delivered to my door. Their foam takes about 1000 miles to "break in" I will say it was good the first time I sat on it and it only got better as time went on. We have put 10K on the seat and love it.
Cons: The only con is that it takes 6 weeks to get it. They did not have any in stock so they started manufacturing the seat after my order was completed. In my opinion it is worth the cost and the wait.

Mustang vintage wide touring. It looks big and soft, and it is! just the right amount of firmness. Huge improvement over stock.
Raised me up about an inch to start, but now, either I dont notice it, or it molded to butt. A little of both I think. Wife loves it too.
