Default Rev Limiter

Did a search but can't find an answer for a stock bike. Does anyone know what the rev limiter is set at for a bone stock 06 twin cam 88 with stock pipes and AC. Seems to me that my bike just hits the peak torque when the rev limiter shuts it off. I don't have a tach.

I'll go with 5500 rpm....NO twin cam should be run over 6300 rpm...there are several ways to raise rev. limiter...BUT WHY DO IT???

It's either 5600 or 5700.
On a stock or close to stock your torque has already fallen well off its'
peak. Horsepower peaked at about 5500.

I think it's 5500 or 5800.......the SERT raises it to 6200 automatically but warns that over 6200 with stock valve springs can cause major damage.

How fast say in 5th gear would you have to be going to hit that on a 06 bike?
