If there was any significant increase in compression you'd think there would be compression releases installed. Short of pulling one of the heads I don't know if there is a way to determine what was done.
You didn't say what kind of tuner is being used. This may be a long shot, but the dealer might be able to tell you, and if you find out what map is being used it could give a clue to other mods.
