Default Wheel bearing question

Not sure if this has been answered before I've searched and I'm just getting confused. I'm in the process of putting 13 spokes on a mid glide dyna. I was unaware that my 25mm bearing were actuall thinner than the 3/4 or 1" sealed bearings. Does any body make a 25mm bearing that is the same thickness as the 3/4, and 1" bearing? Or Is there kit that has a spacer and a longer crush sleeve so you can use the 25mm bearing in a hub meant for 3/4 or 1" bearing. Any help or insight would be great. Thanks.

You should be able to get the proper spacers from the parts counter at your dealer.
edit: oh and the inner spacer needs to remain the same.

not sure i follow if the bearings get a spacer that would make them further apart meaning the crush sleeve would need to be longer, no?

I use SKF 5205-A2RS 25mm ID bearings. They are 20.6mm wide, same as the 1" and 3/4" ID bearings, sealed, and true dual row. Decent bearings.

Why do you think the spacing is gonna change? Are you charging the forks? A bearing store is going to be able to sell you domestic bearings cheaper than Harley dealer as a rule of thumb.

the bearing outer races should be seated in their pockets... even though they would be 'deeper' since they're narrower. If you use a wider inner spacer then you risk your hub floating from side to side. I don't know about you but I wouldn't be comfortable with that prospect.

If wider, double row bearings are available as mentioned I would go with that option, especially if it saves you from hunting down appropriate spacers.

Thanks for all the help I got in touch with a local bearing distributer that is helping me sort it all out.
