Was thinking of adding a fork bag to my bike but my fear is scuffing the finish with the leather straps. Anyone have good solutions or experience with fork bags? Mounting ideas or solutions? above or below the headlight?

 

Typo.....fork bag, not for bag. Can I edit a post title? Fairly new to this!

 

I have mine mounted at the bottom of the down tubes, no pictures but you can see what I'm talking about if you search google.

 

I actually have a down tube bag and really like it. Just looking for a little more storage without adding saddle bags.

 

I had one mounted below headlamp. The leather straps that went around the tubes were fine but the bag itself did scuff the finish on the lower tree.
