Default Forward to Mid question.

I have everything I need to swap back my forwards to mids, my primary has the hole and the chrome cap so no need to remove the IP. This would seem like a straight forward swap but I want to make sure there isn't really anything to complicated involved. What should I look for and any tips to complete the swap. Thanks, I know this has been covered in a few different varieties but I believe my swap may be easier....I can turn wrench too.

Does the chrome cap cover the splined shaft?

Yes it does, I pulled it today to take a look. I didn't have a splined shaft or anything in the Mids parts box so I wanted to investigate.

The only other piece you will need is the short shaft that goes from the splined shaft to the transmission lever. These are on top of the primary. Do you have that?

Pretty straight forward if the shift shaft is in the primary.

At work right now....I'll have to post up pix when I get out......Thanks.

Im kind of hoping the shaft is in there, if I install the shift lever I'll be able to tell if and when it shifts. I don't recall but I think the original owner said everything was left intact just incase he wanted to move it back.
