fairing
Bit bored, the FatBob is pretty done by now - handles and accelerates very nicely. I went in a few steps from a stock 96 to where I am now. Looking back, a few notes. First of all, going in steps is a lot more expensive than doing it all in one go, but more fun. Then there is the law of diminishing returns: different tires and a front stabilizer worked wonders and changing the suspension was more like the icing on the cake. Likewise, moving to 103 with a 555 cam was pretty much 90% of also changing the heads, throttle body and going to a 777 cam. Got some good and helpful advice from Fuelmoto along the way - like needing to look at my throttle body and drilling out the buttplug of the V&H propipe - very grateful for that.
Now thinking of a fairing like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321633368349...84.m1555.l2649
but wondering whether and how much I'd need to cut it back with my 10 inch risers. Anybody tried before?

I'd go with the Dougz Fatbob Fairing instead of buying the one on e-bay. Dougz has a great reputation and makes a really good product that is priced just a bit more that the e-bay fairing. E-bay fairing doesn't even show any photos of brackets/attachment system. Also I have never heard of the e-bay fairing whereas Dougz products get great reviews. http://www.dougz.com/windscreen-fair...p?productid=20
