you will need a gasket that seals off the gas where the console meets the tank and the,,, I think it's 12 screws with rubber pads that are meant to be used only once. Might as well get a new fuel filter while you have it open. And i believe there is a seal for the quick connect fuel line under the tank.
Be super careful not to bend the fuel guage feeler, it is a thin piece of metal with a cylindrical weight /float on the end. and will never work rght if you bend it.
I hope the wires match up, and you will need to take the wires out of the plastic connector to feed them through, then re-assemble themso you can connect after install.
dude get yourself a manual while your at it you will certainly need one.

My tank is complete, and i believe it has a wide glide console ( sorry dont have any pictures at the moment) but its all metal and goes all the way to the seat, has a cut out for indicators, which my indicators dont work so i know i need that. and a round cut out for im guessing an ignition switch?

not so funny story about the tank, i already sold it, but im getting it back Fedex smash it on the way to the new owner, im in the middle of the claims process and hopefully they reimburse me, i had it insured. had to pay the other guy his money back though and felt real bad about the whole situation. BTW i work for fedex LOL
