Default 2012 wide glide lifter noise?

My 2012 WG has about 2,700 mi. Not on start up but after riding 5-20 mins the noise starts, sounds like lifter noise that people riding with me can also hear, after a while it goes away. Been to the dealer twice used both harley n amsoil syn no luck...any ideas?

What does it sound like? Can you tell where its coming from?

I'm chasing a similar noise on my Super Glide, in the process of replacing the lifters now. Hopefully that fixes it.

Sorry it took so long, sounds like its coming from the top of the engine its like a lifter that isnt pumped up. The bike doesn't run bad when it makes the noise and its not consistent like a certain amount of minutes or miles. Twice to the harley dealer said its just a noisy engine. ...its more than that

Check your exhaust flange nuts. If looses retorque and see if it comes back. Lifter failure is unlikely but not impossible at your milage. The primary is noisy and tends to mainly be noticeable at slow speeds.
