2015 LR with stage 1 - my story
Hello all, happy to be a new member of the forum.
I bought a new Low Rider this March (my birthday present to myself) and will be picking it up from the mechanic who is putting together the stage 1 this evening.
I wanted to wait until it was done and post with photos but I've been there this afternoon and heard it run before the final tune and now I can't contain myself.
This is the first brand new bike I've owned so I've done everything as prescribed with the break-in period, all the while knowing there was so much potential. I'm really trying to do everything by the book which is not something I'm used to. I even went so far as to get a motorcycle license after riding on and off for 15 years.
Anyway...it's Vivid Black and I put an Arlen Ness BS 2 AC on it, Rinehart Churchill duals and the SE Pro Super Tuner. Like I said, I went over to give it a listen and it's pretty outstanding.
My story leading up to all of this is a little long so I'll save it unless anybody is REALLY interested but it involves dealing with different dealers-good and bad, different parts suppliers-good and bad, and the HD online store. There have been returns, nicked parts, cancelled orders, jerky customer service people and phenomenal customer service people. I know this forum has sponsors so I'll leave it at that.
All in all, the parts are in, on the bike and it's getting tuned as I write this.
Couldn't be more fired up to ride and I'm happy share my little tidbits with all of you as the bike progresses.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.
