I recently joined the Wide Glide page on Facebook and was surprised to find that some folks get a case of the Red A$$ when you post a picture of a Wide Glide with a fairing, especially a batwing.🙄

Hey there - and sorry for the really late reply. Missed this message....

The Phil Birch fairing doesn't restrict the handlebar movement at all (with stock bars) - and I don't get any buffeting even up to 110mph.

I get hater replies. I'm all about anything that will improve "my" ride. I have friends that are all about the look, and that is cool. But I say, "don't waste your time flaming me cause the look don't mean crap to me" its all about the form, fit or function. I ride my bike.

I am happy with the HD 1/4 fairing, but I would love to get the FXRT fairing.

I was rocking the JD FXRT/RP this last summer 15, fairing look great BUT it's heavy! You feel it in the front end . SPLITTING lanes was also like riding a bagger. You had to slow down cause the fairing is wide than a fxdxt
, then I wanted the gloves boxes , then I wanted some music , the the RP lights. Hummm should of kept my bagger. Yeah or get back into a bagger.

yep, when I bought my Dyna back in 08 I figured I would make it like I wanted it. Just had no idea how I wanted it. If I had known the answer to that question I would have bought a Road or Street Glide!

I think they go for $27.50 with free shipping...
I put about $40 of paint, stripes ect. into it after the initial purchase. So $67.50 or so..

here is a pic without paint
